Well-deserved rest

It rained all night, with an intensity like in the tropics. Unfortunately, the air also cooled down here; after yesterday’s eighteen degrees, today the highest temperature was only 14 degrees. In the morning we rested; on the day-before-yesterday’s big hike Gerbeaud overdid the rock climbing (have I mentioned that the kid is an extreme sportsman?) and was limping, so this rain and chill were a heavenly sign to “take it easy,” rest and relax a bit. In the afternoon we only went for a shorter walk nearby so the four-legged ones could read their messages, and I could breathe a little fresh air. I don’t even have any photos from this day and I can’t tell much either, because it would be boring for others, but we really needed it. So I have to say what I said yesterday too: to be continued tomorrow.
